You should ALWAYS do that. If they're staring, you're probably doing something right!! I always got that kind of attitude from people growing up, and I moved to the west coast of the US from the midwest a couple years ago- complete difference. It is really sad that some places are more open to fashion than others.
I have never been to Singapore but went to China while in high school and that was completely different from what I know, obviously! It was a real mix of people just staring at everyone's clothes and people that wanted to be looked at. Pretty cool. Fashion in Asia seems a lot more open in some ways, maybe just because it is so outrageous though.

Yeahh,its sad that there are places are not as open to fashion . I would love to go to US someday . Over here in Singapore, there are people who dress well, but i feel the fashion is evolving around Asia. And i love thirft shopping, but there is so little around here.
Really love how people out of Asia dress, having the 4 seasons =)
