yeah like i had studied it for 2 years before coming here so i have a pretty good handle on the written language and i can sort of speak it but i am slowly getting better.

das ist ja cool! also hier gibts n richtig großes schönes american apparel am carlsplatz! und in den kleinen Nebengassen in der Altstadt gibts eigentlich immer was zu entdecken... wenn man von der Heinrich-Heine Allee am Carsch Haus vorbei runter Richtung Rhein läuft, gibts die Sachen, dies überall gibt, also H&M und Mango und sowas. Weiter unten ist auf der rechten Seite ne Gasse, an dessen Anfang links Zara und rechts Springfield ist. Wenn man da reingeht, hat man direkt drei richtig coole Läden mit verrückten Sachen. In irgendeiner dieser kleinen Gassen ist auch der absolut tollste Laden von ganz Düsseldorf... ein kleiner Garagenshop in dems allen möglichen Vintagekram und auch cooles neues Zeug gibt... ich weiss nicht genau wo er ist, ich verlier den auch manchmal... ich hoffe du findest ihn, den muss man gesehen haben!
Also der beste Tipp ist auf jeden Fall mal sich in der Altstadt die kleinen Gassen aufmerksam anzugucken...
Ich hoffe, das bringt dir was! Ich wohn zwar seit 18 Jahren hier, aber ich hab immer noch keinen Plan :D
Wenn mir noch was einfallen sollte, sach ich dir bescheid..^^

thanks! hehe i understand very little german myself, the page is i really intended as a portfolio for illustration work whithin the borders of sweden, hope to expand eventually, since it mostly focuses on pictures i thought i´d link it anyway. i´m going to put some textile stuff i made up in an exhibition soon so i hope to get som better pictures to post here then! thanks for the interest shown...
