Wondering where your stylepoints come from or how to create a StyleCouncil? Here's where you learn how StyleMob works.

Today's Winners

Every day we keep score of which looks get the most votes as a "Wow!," the most views, and the most comments.

Stylepoints

To encourage participation and recognize particularly awesome active mobsters, StyleMob has a system of stylepoints. Your number of stylepoints grows with every action you take. To learn more click here.

Getting Featured as a MobStar

Every day we spotlight a StyleMob member with great style who consistently contributes to the community.

StyleCouncil

On StyleMob, every member can create his or her own personal StyleCouncil. Your StyleCouncil is your team of personal stylists--made up of friends whose advice you respect and specialists you can choose from StyleMob.

When you want advice, you can ask a question publicly of the whole mob or mark your question private for your StyleCouncil. You can even mark your question "Emergency"! Your StyleCouncil will get an alert that you want immediate feedback and your question will go to the top of the list.

There are three ways to invite people to be on your StyleCouncil. You can:

  • Invite mobsters
  • Invite other friends
  • Find Specialists on StyleMob

Specialists are StyleMob members who have declared they have knowledge of a certain area (e.g., make-up, sewing, menswear). Tell us your specialty so we can put you in the pool of Specialists that other mobsters can ask for help.

Accepting someone's Council invitation means you serve on that person's StyleCouncil, but it doesn't mean that person is on your StyleCouncil. You need to invite someone to be on your Council.

If you invite someone to be on your Council, you will automatically be friends.

You can always resign from someone's StyleCouncil. And if you're just not getting the kind of feedback you want, you can remove someone from your Council too.
